Madrid, September 17, 2025 - XCharge Europe GmbH (“XCharge EU), the European subsidiary of XCHG Limited (NASDAQ: XCH) (the “Company”) and a provider of high-power and battery-integrated charging solutions for electric vehicles, officially opened its new technical center in Madrid today, a strategic space that strengthens the Company's presence in Southern Europe and optimizes technical and logistical support for customers throughout the region.

Located in Torrejón de Ardoz, the center occupies a 5,000 square foot space comprised of office areas, a testing laboratory, a workshop, and a logistics warehouse. This location strategically positions XCharge EU even closer to its clients and strategic partners in key markets such as Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Latin America, underscoring its commitment to innovation and more agile, technical, and personalized service.

“The new technical center represents a fundamental step in our national and international expansion plan,” says Javier Lázaro, Sales Director at XCharge EU. “Not only does it allow us to significantly improve our delivery times and technical support in Southern Europe and Latin America, but it also provides us with an advanced environment to boost our R&D in terms of performance, interoperability, and adaptability.

Innovation, testing, and support center

The new Madrid center is equipped with the latest XCharge charging stations, including the C6 (200kW high-power charging station), C7 (400 kW liquid-cooled station designed for next-generation vehicles), and Net Zero Series (provides up to 210 kW of charging using only 6 kW to 60 kW grid power thanks to its 233 kWh internal battery system, and is expandable to 466 kWh).

The charging stations will be available for both internal testing and demonstrations with customers and partners, validating interoperability with new vehicle models, fine-tuning configurations, and real-world performance studies on electric cars, trucks, vans, and buses.

Earlier this month, XCharge EU also introduced GridLink, its innovative electric vehicle charging system, to the European market. This system, equipped with proprietary battery technology and advanced safety management, enables efficient integration of solar energy and storage, optimizing charging even at locations with limited grid capacity. GridLink represents a significant step forward in the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of charging infrastructure.

The new XCharge EU center also includes an optimized spare parts warehouse with key parts for the C6, C7, and Net Zero Seriesthat will facilitate 24- to 48-hour deliveries across the Iberian Peninsula. This logistical improvement directly responds to market demand for more agile solutions and closer technical support. The workshop will also serve as a training space for service and repair providers.

Sustainable expansion and European vision

The new Madrid facility is part of XCharge EU's European-focused growth strategy that includes other centers, such as the Hamburg testing laboratory, which opened in 2024. This expanded infrastructure network helps strengthen XCharge EU’s ability to lead the development of advanced, robust, and sustainable solutions for the increasingly demanding charging infrastructure in Spain and Europe.

In terms of sustainability, the Madrid center is designed with capabilities to support renewable energy solutions, including incorportation a microgid with batteries and solar panels. This will enable the integration of clean energy into its operations and testing, aligning with the Company’s ESG values.

“From service stations and shopping centers to fleet operators, the electric mobility market in Spain is a diverse landscape that requires tailored solutions to meet the unique charger needs of its drivers. The Madrid technical center will help address these challenges by providing highly-adaptable solutions for XCharge EU clients and partners,” Lázaro concludes.

For her part, Albina Iljasov, Head of Europe at XCharge EU, emphasizes: “Madrid is a strategic location within our European network. The new center strengthens our customer service and support capabilities by serving as a hub for testing and integration of the latest standards and most innovative technologies in electric mobility.
