Hamburg, 13.11.2024 – XCharge Europe GmbH (XCharge Europe), the provider of high-power and battery-integrated charging solutions for electric vehicles, announces that its Net Zero Series has received the calibration certification. This certification guarantees precise billing, enhancing transparency and safeguarding end-users. With this milestone, the Net Zero Series now meets Germany's strict standards for measurement accuracy and transparency in public charging.
The Net Zero Series is the third DC charger from XCharge Europe, alongside the Smart C6EU and C7 Ultra-fast, to receive this certification. Meeting the highest standards of reliability, data security, and user-friendliness, it is now officially available in the German market.
Energy, fleet, and charge point operators (CPO), as well as EV users, will benefit from the advanced features of this charging station, including:
· Maximum 210kW output with only 60kW input, allowing installation without power grid upgrades
· Battery storage for grid stability and flexible charging performance
· Bi-directional charging for feeding energy back into the grid, enhancing its stability
· Compatibility with photovoltaic systems for the use of renewable energy

"With the Eichrecht certification for the Net Zero Series, we are consistently reinforcing our commitment to the German and European market and underpinning our promise to support electric mobility in Germany with leading cutting-edge technology," emphasises Albina Iljasov, Head of Europe at XCharge Europe. "The Net Zero Series embodies our commitment to delivering state-of-the-art charging infrastructure that is flexible, user-friendly and designed to tackle today’s energy challenges while anticipating the needs of tomorrow.
The IPO of parent company XCHG Limited (XCharge)(NASDAQ: XCH) in September 2024 and cooperation with leading testing laboratories such as SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance – a leading Swiss testing, inspection and certification company) underline XCharge Europe's commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. In October 2024, XCharge Europe strengthened its presence in the European market by opening a new test center in Hamburg.
The Net Zero Series reinforces XCharge Europe's position as a pioneer in the charging infrastructure industry and offers an attractive solution for customers committed to efficient energy use and scalable future-proof technology.
About the Net Zero Series
XCharge Europe's Net Zero Series is a scalable DC charger with a power output of up to 210 kW, specially designed for areas with low power availability and high energy demand. Equipped with an energy storage system (ESS) with up to 233 kWh storage capacity (expandable up to 466 kWh), it can deliver high-power charging even in constrained areas and minimize the need for costly, time-consuming grid upgrades.
As a comprehensive energy solution, the Net Zero Series features Battery-to-Grid (B2G) capabilities, allowing stored energy to be sent back to the grid during peak demand, thus supporting grid stability. It seamlessly integrates with photovoltaic systems, enabling the use of renewable energy sources to power sustainable EV charging.
The Net Zero Series combines robust hardware with advanced software capabilities. A 19-inch touchscreen, intelligent LED display, and active cooling ensure excellent usability and consistent performance, while support for Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP 1.6 and 2.0) and over-the-air updates (OTA) ensure seamless integration and that software remains up to date. With its compact, durable design, the Net Zero Series is perfectly suited for a wide range of applications – from commercial fleets to parking operators and public charging infrastructure.
